Funeral Advice You Can Trust
The Funeral Society of Mid-Florida, Inc is a non-profit organization of area residents dedicated to helping our friends and neighbors make funeral arrangements that are dignified, meaningful, and affordable.
We achieve this goal through consumer education outreach, including group presentations, printed materials, personal consultation, and members benefits. We serve residents in Volusia county, and parts of Lake and Seminole counties, Florida. Founded in 1985, the Funeral Society of Mid-Florida, Inc. if one of many similar groups across the country supported by the national Funeral Consumer Alliance. We are managed solely by volunteers and have no attachment to the funeral industry or any religious organization. Our membership is open to all. Simply put, we are a group of people who try to encourage people to plan for the inevitable, and while doing so, make that occasion easier for their friends and loved ones.
“Thanks to your organization, a difficult time for our family was made easier, less stressful, and certainly much more affordable than it might have been. We are very grateful.”…………………… FSMF Member

When a body in not displayed, memorial services can be held almost anywhere. FSMF members learn about various options, including community hall, churches, synagogues, and parks.
Your safety deposit box is a poor place to store your funeral instructions. FSMF members know whom to notify before the time of death.
